The Tramcar Girl

The Tramcar Girl

A young woman rescues a man buried up to his neck in sand on the beach. She is immediately smitten, but he runs away before she can say anything.

The next day, while driving the tram car on Wildwood Boardwalk, she spots him again – and accidentally crashes into an old woman, thereby losing her summer job. Dejected, she wanders aimlessly along the boardwalk, and decides to play an arcade game.

Unbeknownst to her, she is playing against the stranger from the previous evening! Realizing who his opponent is, he pursues her through the crowd, and the two ultimately connect in the haze of the boardwalk lights.
